Embassy of Japan Celebrates “Washoku” Japanese Food Festival

The Embassy of Japan celebrated &ldquo;Washoku&rdquo; (Japanese Traditional Cuisine) at the Seaside Pavilion in Beirut in partnership with the Syndicate of Owners of Restaurants, Cafes, Nightclubs, &amp; Pastries in Lebanon and BUMC s.a.l. (the exclusive distributor of Toyota and Lexus in Lebanon).&nbsp;<br />

At the opening ceremony, a lecture was held, introducing “Washoku”, and the hygiene awareness necessary with the preparation of Japanese cuisine. The seminar was followed by a welcome drink reception animated by live music played by Ms. Nobuko Miyazaki and OUMI band, the Japanese embassy then welcomed guests to a seated dinner of an extravaganza of culinary delicacies of Japan. 

During the ceremony, H.E. Mr. Matahiro Yamaguchi, Ambassador of Japan to Lebanon, acknowledged BUMC s.a.l. and its Chairman Dr. Fred Boustany for sponsoring the festival, the Syndicate and its President, Mr. Tony Ramy, Mr. Aref Saade (owner of Shogun Lounge, Osaka Restaurant, and Sushi Bar) on their distinguished efforts and collaboration in organizing this event.
