Multi-terrain Select with AUTO Mode
Multi-Terrain Select is a revolutionary system that enables you to drive over all kinds of road surfaces. To address the road surface and provide optimal traction, the system selects from five different modes, when the transfer range is in H4, and from four different modes when in L4. In addition, by selecting AUTO mode, the vehicle estimates the current driving surface based on information from various sensors and optimizes driving force and suspension control.

The second row of seats is easy to fold, to allow access to the third row or folded completely flat to make room for really large items. They also fold 60:40 if you need to accommodate a combination of passengers and longer loads. The third row seats store conveniently to the sides of the cargo area when not needed and are very easy to operate.

Power Sunroof
Wireless Entry/Engine Push Start Button: Once inside the Land Cruiser just press the Push Start Button to be on your way.
Smart Key: No need to reach into your pocket or purse with the Land Cruiser’s Smart Key System. When the Land Cruiser sense the Smart Key is in close proximity, you can lock, unlock the front doors and rear liftgate by simply putting your hand on the door handle.
SRS Airbags Airbags and knee airbags for the driver and front-seat passenger, side airbags for first and second rows, and curtain-shield airbags for all three rows support passenger safety in the event of a collision.
JBL Synthesis Premium Surround Sound System (depending on the grade): in addition to a DVD player –the JBL system features Bluetooth-compatible phone capability and a USB input terminal. Fourteen speakers are optimally positioned throughout the cabin to create a quality sound space.
Steering Wheel Mounted Controls
Grasp the Land Cruiser luxury with its wood and leather steering wheel, fitted with mounted controls for telephone commands, radio and Multi-Information commands. The steering wheel is also electrically adjustable with memory (ZX package only).

SRS Airbags
The Land Cruiser provides of best-in-class collision protection for cabin occupants. The Supplemental Restraint System is comprised of dual-stage driver airbag/front passenger airbag, along with available knee airbags for the driver and front-seat passenger, and SRS side and curtain-shield airbags for first and second-row outer-seat occupants.

* The SRS airbags are supplemental devices to be used with the seatbelts. The driver and all passengers in the vehicle must wear their seatbelts properly at all times. Never install a rear-facing CRS (Child Restraint System) on the front passenger’s seat. For a forward-facing CRS, it is recommended you use it in the rear seats. Please do not use accessories for the seats which cover the parts where the SRS side airbags should inflate. Such accessories may prevent the SRS side airbags from activating correctly, causing serious injury. The photo shows all the SRS airbags activated for display purposes only (the SRS side and curtain shield airbags only inflate on the side of the collision in an actual accident). For details on these and other important safety features, be sure to read the Owner’s Manual carefully.
