BUMC s.a.l., the exclusive distributor of Toyota and Lexus in Lebanon, was honored to host students from two schools, Sagesse Brasilia and Elysee College on December 15, 2018. General Service Manager, Jihad Lakkis presented in technical detail about the Toyota Prius and Hybrid Synergy Drive (pioneered by Toyota since 1997). A hybrid vehicle is one with two or more power sources (normal combustion engine paired with an electric motor). These students also received a live demonstration on the Toyota Prius to fully understand its technology, albeit the fact that is drives like a regular vehicle. 

On many occasions, BUMC has been invited or requested to educate students and Toyota fans more about Toyota’s innovative mobility technologies. BUMC values education, especially for the new generation as their world will soon be comprised of exclusively hybrid or green vehicles.
